Am I still serving as the president of Crossover Global? 

Yes, I am still serving as the president of Crossover Global. I handle most of my day-to-day responsibilities online, so this will continue throughout our time in Brazil while also allowing me to speak at different churches/host events on the weekends. 

Who is leading the USA office while I am gone? 

Good question; to answer this, I must clarify our structure. I do not “run” the USA office. Since we are truly global, the offices are just buildings strategically placed to bring workers together to meet when needed. I just happen to live in the U.S., and our Vice President lives in Azerbaijan…and the team continues to spread around the globe. So the USA office is still open and running as well as it’s been for years. 

What are the children doing for school? 

The kids are homeschooling for the first time, so prayers for my wife, Kristi! They started in August, and it’s been going really well. Gabriella is able to do Ben Lippen’s online school, so she will not miss a beat with 9th grade. We are very thankful for this program! 

Are you coming back to the USA? Really?  Promise? :)

Ha! We do get a lot of people asking if we will really return. The return flight is already booked for April 30th, and we will hopefully bring many stories of fruitful progress back home to share with y’all!

Where are you going to live?

We will be staying in a very special place! A house of one of my former professors within the community of Word of Life Seminary in the city of Atibaia, state of São Paulo. I studied here back in 1998, so it’s been wonderful to be here now with my family. 

Does this ministry assignment need funding?

Yes! Your financial support helps us to ignite a new mobilization effort of churches in South America and link arms in the

fulfillment of the Great Commission. Most of the expenses are generally related to three key allocations — transportation, housing, and ministry expenses.  Our monthly expenses will continue to be covered by my monthly raised support.
